Thermo Scientific Open Biosystems TRIPZ lentiviral inducible shRNAmir for tightly regulatable RNAi
TRIPZ lentiviral shRNAmir, developed in collaboration with Greg Hannon (CSHL) and Steve Elledge (Harvard), combines the advantages of shRNAmir design, Tet-On® inducibility and powerful lentiviral delivery to produce an RNAi trigger that allows tightly regulatable RNAi in most cell types.
Specific features include:
- shRNAmir design produces increased specificity and knockdown.
- TurboRFP marks inducible shRNAmir expression.
- Inducible knockdown with virtually no leak.
- Tet-On® or Tet-Off® configurations possible for regulation.
- Entire human genome targeted.
- Lentiviral delivery expands regulatable RNAi options in primary and non-dividing cells.

Please note that the pGIPZ and pTRIPZ vectors are not compatible with third generation packaging systems such as ViraPower™ from Invitrogen. We recommend the Trans-Lentiviral™ Packaging System for use with our vectors.

Finding your TRIPZ shRNAmir of interest via the Thermo Fisher Open Biosystems Website
- Enter gene symbol(s), GenBank accession number(s), clone IDs, unigene clusters or catalog numbers into the gene search or into the shRNA search (
) in the purchase grid. Results will be returned in a tabbed format. Click on shRNAs under the shRNAs/RNAi tab.
- Target gene sets will be shown for all targets that have greater than two shRNAmir/target. Click on the oligo ID link for additional information including hairpin sequences.
- Contact Millennium Science on our toll free number, Aust:1800 678 242 or NZ : 0800 507 896 or email us on sales@mscience.com.au
Alternatively you can send your gene symbols or accession numbers to us at customerservice@mscience.com.au and our customer service representatives will perform your search for you.
