Announcing Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF) Protein
Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF) is an important cell culture supplement
LIF suppresses spontaneous differentiation thereby promoting long-term maintenance of embryonic stem cells. Additional LIF functions include stem cell pluripotency control, cholinergic neuron differentiation metabolism of bone and fat, promotion of megakaryocyte production, mitogenesis of certain factor dependant cell lines in vivo.

Primary Antibodies
Santa Cruz Biotechnology now offers over 17,708 monoclonal and 38,410 polyclonal antibodies directed to a broad range of mammalian and non-mammalian protein targets. To locate any antibody of interest, either refer to the functional groupings listed below or go to our the search bar above to locate antibodies by product name, catalog number, keyword, gene, protein name or chromosome location. Information is also available for Phospho-Specific antibodies, as well as antibodies for Flow Cytometry and IHC (Paraffin) Staining.
FUNCTIONAL ANTIBODY GROUPS INCLUDE:
Secondary Antibodies, Control Antibodies and Normal Sera
Santa Cruz Biotechnology offers a wide variety of secondary antibodies, control immunoglobulin and control sera for a large selection of species, including mouse, rabbit, goat, donkey, chicken, rat, hamster and sheep. Specialized secondary antibodies, such as our isotype specific secondary antibodies and F(ab')2 secondary antibodies are available and allow for highly specific results. Our Cruz Marker™ secondary antibodies are suitable to use with our Cruz Markers™ for viewing molecular weight markers on your exposures. Control immunoglobulin and immunoglobulin conjugates are useful negative controls. Normal sera is offered to be used as blocking reagents.
- Conventional Secondary Antibodies for Western Blotting
- Cruz Marker™ Compatible Secondary Antibodies for Western Blotting
- Secondary Antibodies for Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry
- Isotype-Specific Secondary Antibodies for Western Blotting
- Isotype-Specific Secondary Antibodies for Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry
- F(ab')2 Secondary Antibodies for Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry
- Normal Sera for Immunohistochemistry: useful blocking reagents
- Control IgGs and IgG Conjugates
- Control Immunoglobulins and Conjugates for Flow Cytometry: negative controls for FCM and IF
Phospho-Specific Antibodies
Santa Cruz Biotechnology offers antibodies specific for phosphorylated amino acids tyrosine, serine and threonine in addition to 311 monoclonal antibodies and 1,223 polyclonal antibodies specific for phosphorylated proteins. Antibodies directed to phosphotyrosine, phosphoserine and phosphothreonine are of value in determining whether various proteins become phosphorylated in response to different inducing agents, whereas site specific phospho-specific antibodies provide information regarding activation of target proteins at specific phosphorylation sites. To locate any antibody of interest, either refer to the functional grouping listed below or go to our Advanced Search page to locate antibodies by product name, catalog number, keyword, gene, protein name or chromosome location. Information is also available for all Primary Antibodies, as well as antibodies for Flow Cytometry and IHC (Paraffin) Staining.
