Preserve samples at room temperature
Norgen’s collection and preservation devices keep samples stable without cold-chain transport:
- Blood (liquid biopsy): preserves cf-DNA and cf-RNA for 30 days at room temperature
- Stool: preserves DNA for 2 years and RNA for 7 days at ambient temperature
- Urine: preserves nucleic acids and proteins for more than 2 years at room temperature
- Saliva: preserves DNA for more than 2 years at room temperature, and RNA for up to 2 months
Norgen products are compatible with downstream applications including PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, gene expression analysis, NGS and metagenomics.
