No-Fail Zone: A Scientist’s Proven Framework for Consistently High-Quality Data Across All 10x Genomics Single-Cell Modalities – Part I: Flex

  • Discover groundbreaking findings using 10x Genomics single cell technologies
  • Hear personal insights from their single cell research journeys
  • Gain practical strategies to overcome experimental challenges
  • Ask questions directly relevant to your own work

Generating high-quality single-cell transcriptomic and spatial data requires precision, foresight, and mastery over every variable that can influence success. In this webinar, Dr Somi Kordafshari, a breast cancer scientist at WEHI, will share proven strategies from processing more than 300 scRNA- and scATAC-seq samples spanning fresh, frozen, and FFPE human and mouse tissues. Her work has consistently achieved maximum cell recovery and exceptional data quality.

Leveraging her extensive molecular biology expertise, Dr Kordafshari runs all single-cell experiments in the breast cancer lab Visvader & Lindeman group while simultaneously leading two major research projects: one applying FLEX and Xenium to over 70 FFPE samples, and another employing Multiome and GEM-X technologies on more than 30 frozen samples. Drawing on her experience across the full range of 10x Genomics platforms, she will share practical insights on optimising the FLEX assay, maximising data quality, and achieving consistently rigorous, reproducible, and robust results from FFPE samples in this webinar (Part I).
