Melbourne, Australia; 14 September 2020 – Millennium Science Pty Ltd, a leading supplier of biomedical research instrumentation, and Jomar Life Research, a major supplier of life science kits and reagents, will form a strategic alliance under common ownership to provide Australian and New Zealand researchers improved access to research technologies and supplies.
Under an agreement completed today, The Leading Technology Group, parent company of Jomar Life Research, will take a majority interest in Millennium Science Pty Ltd.
The two companies will work closely together to offer researchers throughout Australia and New Zealand access to an extensive range of the world's most innovative technologies for life science research. Jointly the two companies represent more than one hundred leading life science product manufacturers including 10X Genomics, PacBio, BioTek, Roche, InvivoGen, Biotium, Sino Biological, and ThermoFisher, among others.
Alexander Szabo, Ph.D. CEO of Jomar, will also become CEO of Millennium. Bren Collinson, Managing Director of Millennium, will take up the position of Executive Director and Senior Advisor. All Millennium and Jomar staff continue in their current positions.
