How-to Webinar

Single Cell Gene Expression - Considerations & Best Practices
Sean Tan, PhD, Field Applications Scientist, South Asia-Pacific, 10x Genomics
Wednesday 29th April 2020, 1:30pm Sydney

Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-Seq) allows you to ask and answer questions that require single-cell resolution on a scale that suits your experimental needs, from hundreds to millions of cells. Are you truly tracking your cells’ transcriptomes, or are you just reading into the averages?

The Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression Solution provides a comprehensive, scalable solution for cell characterization and gene expression profiling of hundreds to tens of thousands of cells. It allows you to detect even more unique transcripts per cell, and with the addition of Feature Barcoding technology, you can get a more complete molecular readout cell by cell—identify cell-specific CRISPR-mediated perturbations or simultaneously measure gene and cell surface protein expression in the same cell, with virtually unlimited possibilities for the additional feature types.

In this How-to Webinar, we will provide a workflow overview on the Chromium single cell gene expression solution, discuss some of the decisions that need to be made, and share the best practices in executing a single cell experiment

Single Cell Master Courses Now Available

From your computer or your mobile phone. When you have spare time or while you are cooking. This series of self-learning short 20-min videos is an ideal tool for researchers who want to learn the basics of single cell technologies during the work-from-home period

Single Cell Epigenomics Scientific Challenge

Deadline 17th May 2020

10x Genomics, in partnership with Active Motif, is inviting researchers to share innovative ideas for single cell chromatin accessibility experiments for a chance to win a project, including library prep, sequencing, and data analysis.

Researchers can participate in this program by submitting an experimental abstract. Selected winners’ samples will be processed by Active Motif through the 10x Genomics Single Cell ATAC assay, including library prep, sequencing, and data analysis.
